Gmail Ads Undermine Teachers?

I’m writing an email to a student in my public speaking class and what ads pop up?

It somewhat reminds me of when I first started gmail I was writing a friend and one of us said “yo” and it came up with ads for hip-hop records and products which I found funny, but this is a bit too “on”. In this case it doesn’t really matter because I’m not writing to a gmail account and students know about these sites anyway, but I can see this message being more persuasive in the right context. I don’t like the thought of triggering these ads to students on gmail with my messages. I suppose I was doing this without knowing it and probably thousands of teachers are.
