Bumpy Transition

So clearly I’m still in the process of getting this site back to normal. Not only the visuals, sidebar and categories are messed up (for now), but it seems I’m a huge idiot because I didn’t back up my wordpress MySQL database before switching servers and now I’m a bit screwed. I just thought, oh, backup everything over FTP and go for it, ugh. Godaddy wants $150 to restore my stuff (idiot fee, I deserve it) but I don’t have $150. Fortunately I have several entries in MacJournal but only going back a couple months. Such are the hazards of hosting your own blog I suppose. Good thing I haven’t written too many wonderfully insightful posts.

Update: Google cache saved the day. I’ll be uploading the back entries shortly. I have lost the comments :(.
