On Flickr
On flickr I feel like I can see a little piece of the world I wouldn’t have. That’s why I subscribe to the Chicago tag feed. Just the other day I was driving downtown and I saw someone take a picture and I thought, maybe I’ll see that picture :) I just joined, and paid the very low $24.99 annual fee. I’ll be uploading and storing my full high-res photos there, a good solution because if my apartment burns down they’d be toast. Along with some other data on my computer, my negatives and my fish, the only irreplaceable things in here. That’s a liberating thought.
Speaking of liberation, I’ve finished finals and almost returned to sanity. With my wedding in July, teaching a public speaking course and myriad other projects in the works this summer I’ll stay busy, but I’ll also have some time off (particularly my 2 week honeymoon in Italy). So I plan to write more here and generally catch up on things.
